How Do We Choose Charities
There are many great causes to support. We wish we could support all of them but that is just not possible. To help decide the charity for each of our parties we have established some minimum criteria each charity must meet. Some of these criteria are:
- Recognized by the IRS as a vaild 501c3 non-profit.
- Over 75% of donations must be used for program services
- Charity must not be political or religious
- Accepts online donations
- Personal connections within the internet community
We also take into account how much popularity and support there is across the internet community. We all have our personal favorites but these charity parties are more fun when the charity is one that all attendees can be happy supporting.
